Ann Bounds
I am a retired registered nurse.  My recreational life is a fly fisher, huntress, and gardener!  I have been fly fishing for about 14 years now, and enjoy the sport immensely.  I am a Founding Member of the women's Arizona fly fishing club, the Dame Juliana Anglers; a past Board Member of the Desert Fly Casters, which is a family-oriented Arizona fly fishing club; and a past Board Member of IWFF of which I was Chair to IWFF Club Liaison Committee.  I also had the honor to hold IWFF’s Woman of the Year award.  My favorite fly fishing is small streams, but I also enjoy large rivers, still waters and I love saltwater fly fishing.  Actually, I enjoy anything to do with fly fishing!  I love to tie flies and have built several rods in the past.  I enjoy the sport of hunting for the fish--big and small--they are all so special and put a big smile on my face.

Her weekly columns: The Warwick Beacon, Cranston Herald, Narragansett Times, Coventry Courier, Standard-Times, and the following websites: Rhode Island Fishing & Outdoor Trails (awriter.com); Hunt RI. com.
